The Maynard in Grindleford enjoys a superb location, close to Bakewell and Buxton, and hotel guests can stroll through Padley Gorge just minutes walk from the hotel and take in the stunning scenery. Close to world famous Peak District attractions, including Chatsworth House and Gardens, Haddon Hall, Blue Johns Cavern, Hardwick Hall and the quaint country villages of Hathersage, Bakewell and Hope. Whether staying in our welcoming accommodation, celebrating a wedding, birthday or any special occasion with family and friends, or simply dropping by to visit our bar and renowned restaurant, our home is always open. We have a bar, lounge and restaurant and welcome both non-residents and residents to dine or hold their functions with us in the Chatsworth Suite.
